Turkish forces shell village in government areas in Syria’s Aleppo

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces shelled on Tuesday a village located in the areas held by Syrian government in Aleppo northern countryside, northern Syria. 

A military source told North Press, “Turkish artillery targeted with more than 38 shells the vicinity of Shaala village in the countryside of al-Bab city.”

The village still witnesses sporadic shelling, the source said, adding that no casualties or material damage have been reported.

The village of Shaala is under the control of the Syrian government forces.

Villages and towns in Aleppo northern countryside are bombarded on a daily basis by the Turkish forces and their affiliated Syrian opposition factions, also known as the Syrian National Army (SNA).

Also on Tuesday, Turkish artillery shelled the outskirts of the village of Herbel in Aleppo northern countryside with seven shells.
