Asayish arrest wanted, ISIS militants in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish)announced on Saturday they arrested 13 individuals in Abu Khashab, west of Deir ez-Zor governorate, eastern Syria.
On September 29, Asayish media center said 13 wanted individuals and Islamic State Organization (ISIS) militants were arrested.
The Asayish seized weapons that were in the possession of the wanted individuals, including three Kalashnikovs, three rifles, a BKC, and ammunition, the center added.
The Asayish statement noted, “hostile parties” seek to recruit terrorist cells for destabilizing the region.
The Asayish in cooperation with the US-led Global Coalition arrested on September 28 two ISIS militants in the town of Zaghir, west of Deir ez-Zor.
