Syria’s AANES records more than 5.365 suspected cholera cases
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – Health Board ofthe Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) said on Tuesday it has recorded more than 5.365 suspected cases of cholera.
In a statement on the AANES-run Rojava TV, Jwan Mustafa, Co-chair of the Health Board, said that 105 confirmed cholera cases have been recorded in all AANES areas up to date.
The Health Board has recorded 17 deaths of cholera.
On September 21, in a press conference, the Health Board revealed that 2.867 suspected cases, 78 confirmed ones and 16 deaths of cholera in northeast Syria have been recorded up to date.
