Turkish forces shell village of Hasakah

TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, Turkish forces and the affiliated armed opposition factions, known as Syrian National Army (SNA), shelled a village close to the town of Tel Tamr in north of Hasakah, northeast Syria.

A source of the Tel Tamr Military Council, affiliated with Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), told North Press that the Turkish artillery shelled the village of Dardara in the countryside of Tel Tamr with tens of shells causing material damage.

The shelling marks new breach upon the ceasefire agreement signed between Turkey and Russia from one hand and between Turkey and the United States from another in 2019 following the Turkish invasion of both Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain ) and Tel Abyad.
