Syrian government areas record 17 new coronavirus cases

DAMASCUSE, Syria (North Press) – Ministry of Health of Syrian government announced on Tuesday night the recording of 17 new coronavirus infections in its held areas.

The official Facebook account of the ministry reported 28 recoveries.

The new infections were recorded as follows: five in Latakia, three each in Hasakah and Rif Dimashq, two each in Tartus, Damascus and Homs.   

The total number of coronavirus infections in the Syrian government-controlled areas has reached 57.189 confirmed cases, including 3.163 deaths and 53.915 recoveries.
