IED explodes in Syria’s Qamishli

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – An explosive device (IED) planted in a car exploded on Friday evening, in the city of Qamishli, northeastern Syria.

A local source from al-Wusta neighborhood in Qamishli told North Press that an IED, which was planted in a car parked near al-Kindi Park in the neighborhood, was exploded.  

The source added that the explosion caused material damages at the site of the explosion without any causalities.  

Another source told North Press that unknown people threw a stun grenade at the car parked in the neighborhood. 

So far, no statement has been issued by the security forces regarding the incident.
