Turkish shelling injures child in countryside of Syria’s Aleppo

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) –Ahmad Imad Ibsh, a 14-year-oldIDP from the village of Baslhaya in Sherawa district , south of Afrin, was injured due to Turkish shelling of the northern countryside of Syria’s Aleppo

A military source told North Press that Turkish artillery targeted the village of Ibbin, which is not run by the Turkish forces and their affiliated armed Syrian opposition factions, also known as Syrian National Army (SNA), with dozens shells.

as a result, the child got injured.

A medical source in Tel Rifaat Hospital, where the child is being hospitalized, told North Press that they sutures wounds in the child’s head, feet, and abdomen that he sustained as a result of being hit with smashed glass that shattered when the shell fell near him.  

The medical source added that they got the child out of the hospital after confirming his safety.

Villages on lines of contact, north and northeast Syria, are undergoing intensive Turkish shelling targeting villages in the city of Kobani, reaching areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo and north of Hasakah. 

A 14-year-old child lost his life, another two-year-old child was injured in the head and two other civilians were injured, medical sources revealed the primary outcome of the Turkish shelling of Kobani and its countryside.
