Turkish shell hits house of child affected by previous shelling of Syria’s Kobani
KOBANI, Syria (North Press)- On Tuesday, a Turkish artillery shell hit house of kid Ebdo Hanifi in eastern countryside of Kobani, north Syria, whose leg had already been amputated early in the current year.
An eyewitness from the village of Qaramogh told North Press that Turkish forces targeted the village with at least five shells one of which fell on the house of Hanifi.
A 14-year-old child lost his life, two-year-old child was injured in the head and two other civilians were injured, medical sources revealed the primary outcome of the Turkish shelling.
Three shells also targeted military posts held by the Syrian government forces positioned in the village, according to the eyewitness.
Since the very early hours of the day, Kobani and its outskirts are subjected to intensive Turkish artillery shelling which continued until the moment this report is prepared.
On Tuesday morning, Turkish forces targeted, with artillery shells, several neighborhoods in Kobani and its countryside, in addition to villages held by the Syrian government forces in the countryside of Tel Tamr and others in the northern countryside of Aleppo Governorate.
