IED blast takes place south of Syria’s Hasakah
SHADDADI, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, an IED exploded in front of a bakery in the middle of a street in the city of Shaddadi south of Hasakah, causing damage to a military vehicle belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
A security source of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) in Shaddadi told North Press that the IED was planted in the middle of street, and it exploded when the SDF military vehicle passed.
No human losses were reported, the sources stressed.
The Asayish cordoned the scene of the explosion in case of any emergency. No party, so far, has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
