SDF, Global Coalition visit town in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor to help locals

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Gentlemen,  Global Coalition forces and the SDF conducted a meeting on Tuesday with members of the Thiban Civil council to discuss short comings within Thiban, 50 km east of Deir ez-Zor, east Syria.

The civil council informed the SDF and coalition that some of the water pumps along the river may need small repairs due to wear and tear of various parts.

The main concern is the water pumps are no longer providing sufficient water distribution for irrigation as the hot summer months are approaching.

 The Civil council stated the SDF and coalition provided support to water pump projects in the past, and they are hoping they can assist with maintenance and repairs.

During the meeting, the civil council gave the SDF and coalition permission to begin assessments on the water pumps in order to identify the problems.
