Government shelling wounds opposition members in Aleppo region
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, an exclusive source told North Press that two members of a Turkish-backed faction were wounded in shelling by the Syrian government forces of the northern countryside of Aleppo.
The government forces pounded on Tuesday evening several positions of the Turkish-backed Sham Legion in the vicinity of the town of Mare’ in the northern countryside of Aleppo with missiles and artillery shells, the source added.
The government shelling critically wounded two members of the faction, and they were transferred to Mare’ Military Hospital, according to the source.
The region has witnessed alert by the faction’s members as fierce clashes continued between the two parties reporting no human losses, the source added.
The Mare’ frontline witnesses persistent military tension between the government forces and the armed Syrian opposition factions triggering panic among residents of the region.
