Turkish shelling of Syria’s Aleppo countryside damages homes and crops
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – The Turkish forces and the affiliated armed opposition factions bombed on Tuesday several villages in the northern countryside of Aleppo with heavy artillery, causing material damage.
“The villages of Harbel, Umm Hosh and Zoyan in the northern countryside of Aleppo were hit with about 30 artillery shells by the Turkish forces,” a military source told North Press.
The shelling caused material damage to a number of uninhabited houses in the village of Harbel. Crops in the aforementioned villages were also damaged in the shelling, the source added.
On May 9, the Turkish forces and Turkish-backed opposition factions targeted the village of Umm Hosh and Smouqa in the northern countryside of Aleppo, with several shell. No information about the casualties or material damage was reported.
