Young man shot dead in Syria’s Suwayda

SUWAYDA, Syria (North Press) – Yesterday at night, locals found the body of a young man west Ariqa village in the western countryside of Suwayda, south Syria, hit with bullets.

“The 22-year-old young man Rojin Salman Azam was found killed a day after he was kidnapped by unknown individuals,” local sources told North Press.

The unknown individuals kidnapped Azam from Ariqa town and accompanied him to an unidentified destination to be find then shot dead, according to the sources.

The sources noted that Azam was an orphan and came from a humble poor family.

Although the government claims to send military reinforcements to settle security, the governorate of Suwayda witnesses security chaos.

North Press Agency has documented the killing of 16 individuals since early this year, the last of which was the killing of a civilian in a shooting and wounding of other one on March 20.
