HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – An unknown woman in her twenties was shot dead last night in the fifth sector in Hawl Camp, east of Hasakah, northeast Syria.
With investigations still in progress to unravel the crime’s circumstances, the victim was moved to the fourth sector, and relevant authorities, up to that point, couldn’t identify her citizenship and name, according to a security source in the camp.
On April 18, an Iraqi woman was shot dead in Hawl camp, and in April 10, an Iraqi refugee was shot and killed in the fourth sector of the camp by a silencer gun.
The camp, which is 40 km away east of Hasakah, contains 56,773 people making a total of about 15,431 families, including 2,423 families of the dead and detainees of ISIS foreigners from about 60 countries, according to the latest statistics.
