Turkish forces bomb Syria’s Hasakah countryside
TEL-TAMR, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday evening, Turkish forces and the affiliated opposition factions bombed the countryside of Abu Rasin, north of Hasakah, with several artillery shells.
“Several artillery shells by the Turkish forces fell on the village of al-Asadiya, north of the town of Abu Rasin, but no material damage or casualties were reported,” a local source told North Press.
The region is witnessing cautious calm now, according to the source.
It is worth noting that the Turkish forces targeted last Sunday and Monday the town of Abu Rasin and its countryside with a barrage of shells, which resulted in the injury of a civilian, in addition to the injury of three members of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish), after a shell fell on a center of the Asayish.
