Syria’s Afrin restores tranquility after clashes
ALEPPO NOTHERN COUNTRYSIDE, Syria (North Press) – Tranquility prevailed, Wednesday, the village of Midanki in Afrin countryside, north of Aleppo, following clashes between two groups of the Turkish-backed faction of Sham Legion.
Five members of Sham Legion were wounded in fierce clashes erupted between two of its groups in Midanki village.
All kinds of weapons were utilized and information concerning the reason behind the crossfire is yet to be defined.
Since March 2018, Afrin and its countryside have been under the control of the Turkish-backed opposition factions.
Insecurity, explosions and infighting spread in the Syrian areas held by Turkey and the Turkish-backed factions which fail to police the areas.
