Stun grenade blew off in Syria’s Qamishli

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) –  On Monday evening, a sound grenade exploded in al-Tay neighborhood, south of the city of Qamishli, northeast Syria.

“A stun grenade thrown by unidentified masked persons riding a motorcycle blew off in al-Tay neighborhood,” a local source from the neighborhood told North Press.

“The bomb caused no casualties or material damage, while the people who threw the bomb fled,” the source said.

The Internal Security Forces (Asayish), however, have not commented on the incident so far.

On Sunday, a person lost his life and two other children were injured in a grenade explosion in Qaddourbek neighborhood in the city of Qamishli.
