SDF denies its members lost lives in Turkish shelling on Syria’s Ain Issa

QAMISHLI, Syria (North press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) denied on Saturday that three of their members lost their lives in Turkish shelling of Ain Issa, north Raqq, three days ago

 “The shelling targeted the civilians’ homes,” Farhad Shami, the head of SDF media center, said on his Facebook.

Some media outlets reported false news said that three of SDF members had lost their lives in Ain Issa, he added.

On March 30, Ma’lak village, Ain Issa camp and the M4 highway were hit with Turkish shelling, while no casualties were reported.

 “The Turkish forces and Turkish-backed opposition factions carried out two ground attacks on 9 villages in the vicinity of the town of Ain Issa this week,” North Press reported the commander of Tel-Abyad Military Council  last week.

Two children, from Khirbat al-Beyada, north Ain Issa, lost their lives in the attacks plus private property and infrastructure were damaged as well, according to the leader.
