Former opposition member killed in Syria’s Daraa
DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday evening, a former member of the Syrian opposition was deadly shot by unidentified gunmen in the town of al-Misfire in the eastern countryside of Daraa, after he was shot
“Ali Hussein al-Zou’bi was killed in the northern neighborhood of al-Misfire town,” local sources told North Press.
“Al-Zou’bi was transported to the National Hospital in the city of Busra al-Sham in the eastern countryside of Daraa, but he died of his wounds,” the sources added.
Al-Zou’bi, according to the sources, was one of the opposition factions’ members he then reconciled with the government forces in 2018 without joining any military side after that.
