Syrian revolution turned into conflict of influence: Future Syria Party
MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian revolution for freedom and dignity has turned into a conflict for influence in Syria among the countries active in the Syrian issue, a politician from the Future Syria Party in the city of Manbij said on Tuesday.
A seminar was held by the Future Syria Party in Manbij on the eleventh anniversary of the start of the protests in Syria, in the presence of civil, military and human rights figures and representatives of political parties in the city.
” Several months after the protests, the Syrian revolution lost its value several due to the intervention of several countries and their support for some parties at the expense of the others and this prolonged the crisis,” Suzan al-Hussein, Head of the Organization Office of the Future Syria Party, said.
Today, March 15, marks the eleventh anniversary of the start of protests in Syria.
“The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) managed to move away from the ethnic and sectarian conflicts. It was inspired by the values of coexistence and brotherhood, and rejected sectarianism for the success of its project, which will be the first seed of the Syrian-Syrian solution,” al-Hussein added.
“The birth of the Future Syria Party was in response to the political aspirations and the urgent need for a political party that represents the regions of northeast Syria and seeks a Syrian-Syrian solution in which all Syrians participate. It also came to correct the course of the revolution that deviated from its true goals,” she said.
“The revolution has been transformed from a popular movement for freedom and achieving of the aspirations of the Syrian people into a revolution that aims to achieve personal interests, and this is evident in the opposition-controlled areas,” according to al-Hussein.
