IED found in Aleppo eastern countryside of Syria
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Residents of the city of al-Bab in Aleppo eastern countryside, northern Syria, found an IED placed near a school in the city center last night.
People in the eastern neighbourhood of the city found an IED placed inside a sack near the Hamza School, a local source told North Press.
The source added that the people informed the security apparatus which exploded the IED remotely, amid fear of the people of the killings and explosions in the city.
Since 2017, al-Bab city has been run by Turkish-backed armed factions the most notable of which are al-Hamza faction, Sultan Murad and Ahrar al-Sham.
Areas occupied by the Turkish-backed factions have been witnessing security chaos accompanied by frequent explosions, in addition to cases of abductions and corruption amid the failure of these factions to maintain security.
