We seek to end Turkish occupation to northwest Syria, Mekdad
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Damascus seeks to end the Turkish occupation to northwest Syria by all means, said Faisal Mekdad, Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, yesterday.
“There are many contacts with several Arab countries, and seek to work in a system that will facilitate Arab engagement and rebuild new Arab positions,” Mekdad added.
The Syrian minister warned of the continued Israeli attacks against Syria describing them as “they threaten the international security and stability”.
Mekdad is on visit to the Russian capital, Moscow, to meet with officials there.
