The villages adjacent to the contact lines are almost daily bombed by the Turkish forces and the residents are the most affected by the bombing, a military commander in al-Bab Military Council forces in the countryside of Manbij, Youssef al-Arima, told North Press.
On Wednesday, the villages of Qart Weran, al-Kawkli and al Boghaz in the eastern countryside of Bab al-Sharqi, in addition to the villages of al-Sayada, al-Jamousiya and Umm al-Adasa in the northwestern countryside of Manbij, were all bombed by the Turkish forces and opposition factions.
“The Turkish forces stationed in the bases of al-Shuwaiha and Sheikh Nasser, north of Manbij, randomly targeted residential communities with forty mortar shells,” the commander said.
Al-Arima called on the Russian guarantor, being present in the Arima area, to put an end to the Turkish violations and the continuous indiscriminate bombing to spare civilians the killing and destruction of their property.
Al-Arima did not mention any casualties among the residents or the military. The bombing only caused damage property of the residents.
