US troops patrol contact lines in Syria’s Hasakah countryside
TEL-TAMR, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the American forces conducted a patrol on the contact lines between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Turkish forces with the affiliated armed opposition factions in the countryside of Tel-Tamer, north of Hasakah, northeast Syria.
The American patrol consisted of 6 armored vehicles, including two Bradley combat armored vehicles, coming from its base in the village of Qasrik, east of the town of Tel-Tamr.
The patrol passed through the villages of al-Dardara, al-Fakka and Mujebrat al-Zarkan on the contact lines in the northern countryside of Tel-Tamr.
The American patrol on the contact lines with the Turkish forces, was as part of its regular patrols in the region, to monitor violations of the ceasefire, according to a military source who accompanied the patrol.
Since the beginning of February, the countryside of Tel-Tamr has been bombed with heavy weapons by the Turkish forces at least twice.
