Turkish forces, opposition factions bomb Syria’s Raqqa
AIN ISSA, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, Turkish forces and the affiliated armed opposition factions bombed villages west of the town of Ain Issa, north of Raqqa, north Syria, with missiles.
The Turkish forces and their affiliated factions bombed the Abu Surra junction 10 km south of the town with two shells, a military source of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Ain Issa said.
The bombing coincided with the flight of Turkish drones over the town of Ain Issa and the two shells landed on farmland, the source added.
On January 23, four civilians, including two children, were injured in the bombing of the Turkish forces and opposition factions on the western countryside of Ain Issa.
The town of Ain Issa and its countryside and the western villages of Tel Abyad and other areas in northeast Syria are frequently bombed by Turkish forces and the affiliated opposition factions.
