Civilians wounded in Turkish shelling of Syria’s Tel Abyad countryside

TEL ABYAD, Syria (North Press) – Four civilians were wounded, on Saturday, in an artillery shelling by Turkish forces supported by the Turkish-backed armed factions targeting the western countryside of Tel Abad, north Syria.

The Turkish forces targeted several villages in the western countryside of Tel Abyad with shells and missiles, an eyewitness from Tel Abyad western countryside told North Press.

“The blind shelling, that started at 12:00 PM, left four wounded civilians including a woman in addition to material losses in residents’ houses,” the eyewitness said.

The Turkish forces supported by Syrian opposition factions periodically shell the town of Ain Issa, the western villages of Tel Abyad, and other areas north Syria.
