Three people killed in clashes in camp in Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – Three people were killed, on Thursday evening, in clashes that erupted between two armed groups in an IDP camp in Daraa.

Ahmed Abdulmoni’m Abdulrahman Harfoush, Muhammad Ibrahim al-Khalaf al-Masalma and Rami Fouad al-Ayyash were killed in an IDP’s camp in Daraa, Local sources told North Press.

“Harfush, the brother of Mo’yad Harfoush, known as Abu Ta’ja, was killed after the Shalash Abu Hamza group attacked his brother’s house.” The sources stated,

The other two young men were killed by indiscriminating bullets as a result of the clashes that erupted between the two armed groups in the camp, according to the sources.

An armed group led by the so-called Shalash Abu Hamza attacked the group of Moayad Harfoush without knowing the reasons for the attack, the source added.

The sources noted that the government forces demanded the deportation of Moayad Harfoush from Daraa al-Balad with another person named Muhammad al-Masalma, nicknamed Hafo, and based on the people’s desire, they left for several days before returning to it after pro-Iranian militias, who were besieging Daraa al-Balad, violate the agreement.

On Thursday, Amer Hamid al-Mahamid, commander of a group affiliated with the Military Security Branch of the government forces in Daraa, was killed and another person, who was accompanying him, was wounded.

Yesterday morning, Alaa al-Aboud, the mayor of al-Na’ima Municipality, was killed after being targeted with an IED in a neighborhood in the city center of Daraa.
