Turkish forces target Syria’s Hasakah countryside four times within week
TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, the Turkish forces and the Turkish-backed armed factions shelled the countryside of Tel Tamr town, north of Hasakah, northeast Syria, with heavy weapons.
A barrage of artillery and mortar shells fell on the village of Umm al-Keif and the surrounding area, north of Tel Tamr town, launched by the Turkish forces the armed factions affiliated with them, a source of the Tel Tamr Military Council told North Press.
As a result of the shelling, damages were reported in the main electrical poles that supply the power station of the town.
Days ago, a similar Turkish shelling of the village of Tel Karabet, in the countryside of Tel Tamr, cut off power to Tel Tamr countryside causing massive damage to the electrical network.
It is worth mentioning that this is the fourth time the Turkish forces and the factions affiliated with them target the countryside of Tel Tamr over a week.
