Opposition-held areas record 90 new coronavirus infections
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Council announced the recording of 90 new cases of coronavirus, 393 recoveries and eight deaths in Idlib and Aleppo countryside, northwest Syria.
It indicated that it conducted tests for 514 suspected cases in its areas.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 91,756 including 2,182 deaths and 59,903 recoveries.
