Four ISIS militants were arrested near Erbil
ERBIL, KRG, Iraq (North Press) – The Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service arrested four ISIS militants in Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region of Iraq, the US-Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS tweeted on Tuesday.
The arrest took place near Erbil with the support of the Global Coalition forces, according to a tweet by the Special Operation Division of the Global Coalition.
However, the time and place of the operation were not mentioned in the tweet, and neither Iraqi counter-terrorism nor Security Services in Kurdistan issued a statement on the operation.
“Such operations limit the ability of ISIS to reorganise its moves or to continue to cause problems to Iraqis,” the coalition said.
