77 new coronavirus infections in Syria’s opposition-held areas

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Council announced the recording of 77 new cases of coronavirus, 263 recoveries, and two deaths in Idlib and Aleppo countryside, northwest Syria.

It indicated that it conducted tests for 348 suspected cases in its areas.

With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 91,369, including 2,135 deaths and 58,774 recoveries.
