Four deaths, 140 new coronavirus infections in Syria’s opposition-held areas
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Council announced the recording of 140 new cases of coronavirus, 287 recoveries and four deaths in Idlib and Aleppo countryside, northwest Syria.
It indicated that it conducted tests for 714 suspected cases in its areas.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 91,082, including 2,110 deaths and 57,887 recoveries.
