Syria’s Hasakah came under intense artillery fire from Turkish military
TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, Turkish forces and affiliated Syrian armed factions targeted the countryside of Tel Tamr town, north of Hasakah, northeast Syria, with artillery shells.
The Turkish military and its affiliated factions targeted al-Dardara village, north of Tel Tamr, with barrage of artillery shells, a source of Tel Tamr Military Council told North Press.
No information was received on the magnitude of the losses, the source added, while the bombardment continues sporadically.
Most of the villages on the contact lines with the Turkish forces in the countryside of Tel Tamr, north of Hasakah, have become empty of residents due to the continuous bombardment.
The village of al-Dardara, 4 km north of Tel Tamr, is the most prominent village on which the Turkish bombardment is focused, as it has hit by hundreds of Turkish shells.
