HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) found the bodies of two Iraqi refugees in their tent in the fourth sector in Hawl Camp, east of Hasakah, northeast Syria.
A source in the Asayish said that the Iraqi refugee Hajer Ata’llah Abdulhamid was found killed by gunshots to the chest in her tent in the third section on Wednesday.
The source added that the 21-year-old Iraqi refugee Mohammed Najibwas found killed by gunshots to the shoulder and chest near his tent in the first section.
The two Iraqi refugees were killed by unknown individuals believed to be affiliated with Islamic State (ISIS) sleeper cells, the source said.
On August 16, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) found the bodies of two displaced Syrians in their tent in the fourth sector of the Camp.
Since mid-April, the camp, which is located on the southern side of the town of al-Hawl, has recorded about 30 killings of Syrians and Iraqis in the camp using guns, according to security sources of Asayish.
