Iranian-backed faction establishes office in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor countryside

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Recently, the Iranian-backed Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba has been preparing their first recruitment office and headquarters in the town of Syrian government-held Ma’adan Atiq in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba established their first headquarters and recruitment office in Ma’adan Atiq and the seventh in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor, with the latter consisting of two houses that they earlier seized in the town.

Preparations began after their logistical allocations from Iraq arrived in the east of Deir ez-Zor and then to the western countryside, Sa’eed al-Saleh (a pseudonym), a member of Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba, told North Press.

On Thursday, trucks full of logistical materials related to the establishment of the new office and headquarters arrived before local construction workshops started the work of converting the houses into headquarters, he pointed out.
