Turkey bombs villages in Syria’s northern Aleppo

ALEPPO COUNTRYSIDE, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday at dawn, Turkish artillery stationed at the Scientific Research Center on the Azaz-Yahmoul route bombed the villages of al-Alqamiya and Maranaz in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

“Turkish artillery bombed the residential neighborhoods of the villages of al-Alqamiya and Maranaz with more than 20 shells,” an exclusive source told North Press.

However, no material and human losses were caused by the Turkish shelling.

On Monday, Turkish artillery bombed the villages of Ayn Daqnah and Bayloniyah in the same region.

More than 300,000 displaced people from Afrin region have been residing in areas of the northern countryside of Aleppo since the Turkish invasion on the area in January 2018.
