Turkish forces shell villages of Syria’s Manbij
MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – Since the early hours of Friday, the Turkish forces have been bombing the villages in the northern countryside of Manbij, north Syria, which are located on the line separating the Manbij Military Council forces from the Turkish-backed armed factions.
Turkish forces, from their base in the village of al-Tokhar al-Kabir, targeted the villages of al-Tokhar al-Saghir and al-Jat with several mortar shells, according to a private source.
The bombing extended to the villages of Awn al-Dadat, north of Manbij, and the villages of al-Dandania and Arab Hassan, northwest of Manbij, according to the same source.
Moreover, Turkish forces intensively renewed bombing of the village of al-Jat, north of Manbij, with medium and heavy weapons, the Manbij Military Council said through its official website.
45 mortar shells fell on Manbij villages today, according to the Manbij Military Council.
