Syrian government-held areas record nine new coronavirus cases
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On, Sunday, the media office of the Ministry of Health of the Syrian government recorded 9 new coronavirus infections and one death in its areas of control.
The government’s media office stated on its Facebook account that the new death was in Damascus.
Meanwhile, the media office announced the recording of four new recoveries.
The new cases were 5 in Damascus, two each in Aleppo and Rif-Dimashq.
The total toll of the infections in the government-held areas has come up to 25,785, including 1,898 deaths and 21,884 recoveries.
On Saturday, the government-held areas recorded 10 new coronavirus infections, one death, and four recoveries.
