Syria’s northwest records 23 new coronavirus cases

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 23 new cases of coronavirus, 29 recoveries, and a death in the Idlib and Aleppo countryside, northwest Syria.

It indicated that it conducted tests for 496 suspected cases in its areas.

With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 25,913, including 714 deaths and 22,731 recoveries.

On Monday, northwestern Syria recorded 47 new coronavirus cases, 94 recoveries, and a death.
