Syria’s northwest records 38 new coronavirus cases
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 38 new cases of coronavirus, 29 recoveries, and a death in the Idlib and Aleppo countryside, northwest Syria.
It indicated that it conducted tests for 377 suspected cases in its areas.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 25,843, including 713 deaths and 22,609 recoveries.
On Sunday, northwestern Syria recorded 53 new coronavirus cases, 28 recoveries, and a death.
