53 new coronavirus cases recorded in Syria’s northwest
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 53 new cases of coronavirus and 28 recoveries in the Idlib and Aleppo countryside, northwest Syria.
It indicated that it conducted tests for 410 suspected cases in its areas.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 25,805, including 711 deaths and 22,580 recoveries.
On Saturday, northwestern Syria recorded 10 new coronavirus cases and 31 recoveries.
