Turkish forces, affiliated factions bomb villages of Syria’s Bab
MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, Turkish forces and their affiliated armed factions bombed villages in the eastern countryside of al-Bab, northern Syria, with medium and heavy weapons.
An informed source in al-Bab said that Turkish forces and their affiliated armed factions targeted the eastern countryside of al-Bab with more than 20 artillery shells.
The source added that the shelling affected the villages of Kawokli and Qurt Weiran, east of al-Bab, and al-Arima district, west of Manbij.
Last night, the Turkish forces and their affiliated armed factions targeted the villages of al-Boghaz, al-Yanli and al-Sayyada, northwest of Manbij, with heavy weapons.
In March 2020, five Syrian government soldiers were killed and four others were wounded after the Russian Reconciliation Center in al-Arima district, west of Manbij, was targeted by the Turkish forces and the affiliated armed factions.
