Manbij, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday morning, Turkish forces bombed areas in the northern countryside of Manbij, north Syria, with medium and heavy weapons.
The Military Council of Manbij said, through its official account on Facebook, that the Turkish army and factions affiliated with it targeted the villages of al-Hoshariya, al-Jat, Aoun al-Dadat, al-Jamoisiya and al-Farat near the front line north of the city.
Hamoud al-Saidi, 40, a resident of the village of al-Hoshariya in the northeastern countryside of Manbij, said that they woke up to the sounds of Turkish shells, which began to fall on the village and the harvested lands in its vicinity.
Al-Saidi called on the international community, the Global Coalition forces and the Russian forces to abide by their commitments to protect civilians, and “stop the Turkish killing machine,” as he described it.
According to The Manbij Military Council, Turkey and its mercenaries launched 47 shells in addition to bullets randomly towards the villages.
