Russian patrol in Syria’s Derik coincides with American patrol’s departure
DERIK, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the Russian Military Police conducted a military patrol in the countryside of the city of Derik, in far northeastern Syria.
The arrival of the patrol to the village of Ain Dewar coincided with the departure of an American one consisting of four armored vehicles from the village.
The Russian patrol consisted of three armored vehicles, without air cover, and it reached the Roman Bridge on the Syrian-Turkish border before returning to its base in Qamishli city.
For the second time in a week, the conduct of the Russian patrol coincides with presence of the American patrol in the countryside of Derik.
