Government forces continue shelling armed groups’ in Syria’s Idlib, Latakia countryside
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, Syrian government forces shelled fortifications of Turkish-backed armed opposition groups within a series of the mutual shelling between the two sides in the de-escalation zone, northwest Syria.
Government forces shelled fortifications of the Turkish-backed armed groups in the town of al-Fatira and Kansafra in Zawiya Mountain, Idlib southern countryside, with artillery shells and rocket launchers, a military source of the armed groups, told North Press.
The government shelling also targeted posts of the armed groups in Tilal Kabbana in Jabal al-Akrad, Latakia northern countryside, according to the source.
The shelling coincided with intensive drones and warplanes flight over the area recording no civil or military human losses.
