103-year-old woman recovers from coronavirus in Syria’s Hasakah
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, a team of the Kurdish Red Crescent operating in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES)-held areas said that a 103-year-old woman recovered from coronavirus after she received ten days of the medical care in the city of Hasakah, northeast Syria.
The organization released on its Facebook account that 103-year-old Hajar is the eldest woman to be received in a care center for coronavirus patients in northeast Syria.
The woman was shown exiting the COVID-19 Hospital in Hasakah accompanied by members of the Kurdish Red Crescent to be transferred by an ambulance to her house, where her family was waiting for her.
Hajar stayed ten days in the hospital, where she received healthcare until her health improved and she completely recovered from Covid-19, according to the Kurdish Red Crescent.
