21 new coronavirus cases recorded in Syria’s northwest
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 21 new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.
On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said that it recorded 21 cases of the virus, and 36 recoveries.
It indicated that it had conducted tests for 498 suspected cases in Idlib and Aleppo regions.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 21,613, including 638 deaths and 19,644 recoveries.
On Tuesday, areas of northwest Syria recorded 22 new coronavirus cases and 14 recoveries.
