Two SDF members shot dead in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, two members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were shot dead by unknown persons while they were in one of the military headquarters in the town of Al-Sha`fah, 115 km east of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
A local military source told North Press that the two soldiers lost their lives after being shot at by an unknown person while on guard duty at a military post on the bank of the Euphrates River.
The eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor is witnessing large-scale assassinations of SDF members, employees of the Autonomous Administration, dignitaries and residents in the area.
On April 4, an SDF member lost his life as a result of being shot at by an unknown person at a military checkpoint in the town of Al-Sha`fah.
