No coronavirus permanent immunity: Syria’s AANES health official

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – There is no permanent immunity after the infection with coronavirus, Mustafa Kalash, co-chair of the Health Board in Jazira region, said on Sunday.

“Coronavirus infections were recorded for the second time,” Kalash told North Press.

He pointed out that the goal of the extension of the lockdown is to decrease the number of the infections.

Kalash expressed concerns about the coronavirus infections to be out of control, that is, the inability to provide care for the needed.

Daily toll of the confirmed cases after taking the swabs reaches 40%, according to the health official.
