Syria’s northwest announces 10 new coronavirus cases

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 10 new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.

On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said that it recorded 10 cases of the virus, and three recoveries.

It indicated that it had conducted tests for 502 suspected cases in Idlib and Aleppo regions.

With the newly announced figures, the total number of infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 21,486, including 638 deaths and 19,572 recoveries.

On Friday, areas in Syria’s northwest recorded 18 new coronavirus cases without recoveries recorded.
